Ginger and Barry Ackerley are compassionate, hardworking people who believe that with wealth comes great responsibility. Following a successful career in advertising and media, Ginger and Barry have applied their tenacity and focus to advancing education in the state of Washington.

The Ackerleys feel that knowledge and understanding have the power to make a difference in most of the world’s ills. They’ve chosen to devote their time and resources to education, especially early learning, because they believe that every individual has a right to an education in a caring and knowledgeable environment.

Through the Foundation, Ginger and Barry are engaged in a larger effort to ensure that children enter school prepared, and continue learning throughout their lives.
